Who is Shawn Hurd?
Shawn started spinning tunes at the early age of 15. It all started at a local restaurant that thought it would be a good idea to have a dance night once a week. Why not ask the guy who washed dishes in the kitchen (and was doing a co-op at a radio station) to be the DJ. While that may not have lasted long, his love for being a DJ did.
From Pubs to Clubs; Weddings to Corporate Events, Shawn has been a DJ and Entertainer for almost any event you can think of. He specializes in looking after the small details, being reliable and courteous, while creating a top notch dance environment.
Shawn is also a Radio Personality/Media Sales Executive and together with his wife Jenn is raising 3 beautiful girls and 1 busy boy. He enjoys hockey, photography and making the most of the time he gets with his family.

Not only is Shawn committed to being reliable and easy to work with, he finds it important make sure all aspects of being licensed is taken care of.
Shawn's Music is Licensed by the CONNECT music licensing. Which means it's legal for him to play music as a performer for a crowd.
Shawn is a proud member of the CPDJA (Canadian Proffesional Disc Jockey Association) .
